At the end of this session, the participant will be able to (1) list at least three different lesions resulting in single ventricle physiology, (2) describe the important fetal echo findings in the assessment of the fetus with a single ventricle, (3) describe four different possible physiologies in patients with single functional ventricles and the fetal and postnatal echo findings associated with each, and (4) discuss the operations performed for children with palliated single ventricle lesions, and the essential elements in the echocardiographic of each one.
